Dr. Jeffrey Schiff is a board certified Urologist, an Assistant Assistant Professor of Urology NYU Long Island School of Medicine and an attending at Winthrop Urology, PC. Before joining Winthrop Urology he was the Director of Adult Urology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and was a member of the Academic Executive Committee – Residency Advisory Board in the Department of Urology. He was also a voluntary Attending Physician in the Department of Urology at Kings County Hospital Center, a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Dr. Schiff attended Tufts University School of Medicine where was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He was conferred the Doctor of Medicine Degree in 2006. He then began a Residency in the Department of Urology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center from 2006-2011.
Interests include Clinical Urology, Urology Research and Academic Medicine. He received First Prize at the 2006 American Urological Association Annual Meeting for Best Video Presentation on Athermal Technique of Nerve Sparing Prostatectomy. He has also published and presented in many professional forums. Dr Schiff serves as the Graduate Medical Education Site Director for the Department of Urology at NYU Winthrop Hospital.
Dr. Schiff specializes in the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) and offers in office minimal invasive treatment options for this condition.
